Payload & Capacity Guide

How many riders each model is built for, what the hull weighs, and what the published maximum payload means when every seat is taken.

Payload is the least consistently published number in this category. Most spec sheets list seats, speed and runtime and leave the load rating out entirely — which means a buyer planning a two-adult ride has no published figure to check against.

This page prints what is published, marks what is not, and lets you test a full boat against the limit before you order. Two models in the range publish a maximum payload. The rest do not, and pretending otherwise would be the fastest way to lose a customer who loaded a boat to the gunwales.

Check a full boat against the published limit

Pick a model, enter how many riders you are planning and what they weigh. The result is the passenger mass the boat has to carry — compared against the published payload where one exists.

SKB-001 Single-Seat Kart Boat (Sport): maximum payload not published. This model does not publish a maximum payload, so the figure you are carrying into the supplier conversation is the number to ask for. Until it is answered, plan on a single rider per seat.

Maximum payload is the number to ask for

Payload affects performance in three ways. More load sits deeper in the water, so hull drag rises, and top speed and runtime fall at the same throttle setting. The stability margin shrinks — a boat designed around a single 150 kg rider behaves differently with two adults aboard. And hull and battery weight compound each other: the tandem ABS hull carries a 48 kg battery pack to move two people, against 32 kg in the single-seater.

Four questions that pin a payload number down

  • What is the rated maximum payload, and at what tested condition — one adult, or two adults plus a child?
  • What is the hull weight without the battery pack, and what is the pack weight on its own?
  • At what average power draw and speed is the published runtime measured?
  • Does the top speed figure hold at full rated payload, or at an empty hull?

If a supplier cannot state the payload and the test condition behind it, treat the absence as information. It is the fastest way to tell a manufacturer who has tested their boats from one who has only configured them.

From calculation to RFQ

Every tool here ends the same way: the numbers you worked out go into the enquiry form with your message, so the first reply quotes against your configuration instead of a generic range.
